Open Invite for Adaptive Climbing in the East Bay

Interested in trying adaptive climbing? Diablo Rock Gym in Concord has you covered! Climbing programs are partnered with Paracliffhangers – a non-profit that focuses on providing adaptive climbing/empowering people with disabilities. 

Climbing is available for all disabilities as well as age ranges. Their mechanical advantage system makes it easier to climb either on the wall or on an ascender next to the wall and they are connected with touchstone as they have offered accessible routes. Specifically for Contra Costa County, climbing happens in Diablo Rock Gym every second Tuesday of the month from 5-8pm, but Paracliffhangers' site lists opportunities in Oakland, Berkeley, SF and beyond.
