Reeve Foundation Peer Mentor Training Opportunity for Family Members/Caregivers
The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s Peer & Family Support Program provides one-on-one peer mentoring to the paralysis community. The program is currently seeking family members/caregivers (parents, spouses/partners, siblings, and adult children) of individuals living with paralysis to become certified peer mentors.
To become a mentor, interested individuals must complete an online application, attend a peer mentor training, agree to a code of conduct and consent to a background check (which is conducted and paid for by the Reeve Foundation). The Peer & Family Support Program will be holding a virtual peer mentor training specifically for family members/caregivers on Wednesday, February 28th from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pacific Time; the training will be held via Zoom and led by program staff.
