SCI Connections Fall Event: Presentation on Urinary Catheter Innovations - October 1st

Dr. Chris Elliott, is the co-chair of the Division of Urology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and an affiliated, Associate Professor at Stanford University Medical Center.

On October 1st, from 5:45-7:30pm, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Peer Support/SCI Connections will host its fall event: New Urinary Catheter Innovations (indwelling and intermittent) – are improvements on the way?

This 45 minute presentation, from Dr. Chris Elliott (Urologist from SCVMC and Stanford University), will discuss new urinary catheter innovations (indwelling and intermittent) including: improved bladder drainage during CIC, reduction in medical waste associated with single-use CIC catheters and reduction in SP tube blockages due to encrustation. There will be a 10 minute Q&A after the presentation.

Following the Q&A, SCVMC will host an hour to network/socialize and dinner will be provided, free of charge!
