The Franklin Elieh Fund Dedication

On August 26th, NorCal SCI Executive Director Arash Bayatmakou and co-founder Nick Struthers were on hand to dedicate a plaque at SCI-FIT Dublin to recognize the creation of the Franklin Elieh Fund. Franklin had worked with the SCI-FIT team since the inception of NorCal SCI ensuring the newly injured get the opportunity to improve their functional outcomes by providing grant funding.

It was only fitting to unveil the plaque at the Alameda County Location where everything started. NorCal SCI’s partnership with SCI-FIT has grown stronger over the years and with the creation of the Franklin Elieh Fund, there is an opportunity to deliver even more vital rehabilitation and exercise therapies through the Franklin Project and The Newly Injured Grant Programs.

“Franklin’s DNA is embedded in everything NorCal SCI does and it’s only appropriate to have a small reminder of Franklin’s presence to recognize the incredible legacy he created.”
