PRAVIN VAZIRANI

It was Christmas of 2020 as Pravin was vacationing at a beach in Hawaii with his family when a wave lifted him up and slammed him into the sand, resulting in an incomplete cervical injury. On his worst days, he was a positive person working to lift hope for other patients going through their rehab stints.

Through a lot of hard work and hours of therapy once he got home, Pravin has been able to recover the vast majority of his function and even participated in a couple of 5k runs with his family.

Pravin is currently a Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology Investing at asset management firm Blue Owl Capital. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Menlo Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, CA. Pravin holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has been a Bay Area resident for over 20 years and currently lives in Menlo Park with his wife and two children.
