News from NorCal: The Oakland-based AXIS Dance Company, a nationally-recognized organization that champions disabled and non-disabled dance performers, will hold two free dance performances in Oakland on Aug. 9 and 12. http://www.axisdance.org

Santa Rosa Junior College Adapted Physical Education Program – The Adapted Physical Education (APE) program offers a variety of physical fitness classes that are modified to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.
