Disability expo in Santa Rosa on Oct. 7
The Disability Services & Legal Center (DSLC) in Santa Rosa is hosting its 11th annual Northern California Tech Expo on Friday, Oct. 7th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
This free event will showcase the newest Assistive Technology (A/T) and services enabling adults and children with disabilities, veterans, and the aging community to live and/or work safely and independently. some 50 exhibitors will display and promote their products and services, training them on the use of assistive technology, display modified vehicles for a variety of disabilities, introduce newly released augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and more. It will also showcase artists with disabilities and variety of sports that people with physical challenges can enjoy.
Founded in 1976, DSLC is a non-profit disability rights advocacy agency with offices in Santa Rosa, Napa and Ukiah.
