Hassan's SCI Triumph

In April 2015, Hassan suffered a C3 Incomplete SCI as a result of a diving accident at Santa Monica Beach. Over the next 18 months, Hassan continued to work very hard on his rehabilitation but despite his great spirit and determination, his progress was limited by the resources available to him.  He left Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he completed his rehab, using a chin-drive power wheelchair.

In stepped The Triumph Foundation, awarding Hassan a grant to pursue focused exercise therapy at SCI-FIT Pleasanton.
