TLC is teaming up with Headwaters Adventure Company again for a wheelchair accessible rafting and kayaking adventure on the Lower American River. Whether you want to paddle a kayak or cruise in a raft, this trip is designed for all skill levels and all abilities.
Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Put In: Sunrise Recreation Area, Fair Oaks, CA (a bus takes everyone from Take Out)
Take Out: Gristmill Recreation Area, 9517 Mira Del Rio Dr, Sacramento, CA
Suggested Donation: $40 per person
Bonus: Lunch is served on the river!
This is a Class I float — gentle current, beautiful scenery, and big memories. No experience needed. Just bring your sense of adventure (and your sunscreen).
