The Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Rehabilitation Center is hosting Accessibility Day on Saturday, Aug. 12th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a free event that will showcase accessible vehicles, hand cycles, a rare modified Harley Davidson and other accessible sports and recreational activities.

But that's not all.  Also on tap are wheelchair basketball, tennis, pickle ball, dancing, tai-chi demonstrations and lots of non-profit organizations and partners serving the disabled community.  The event will provide hot dogs, chips and fruit to attendees, however, RSVP is requested so that ample supply is available for everyone's enjoyment.  You may reserve your spot by registering at www.scvmcrehab.org/accessibility_day

The event will be held on the grounds of the hospital's Rehabilitation Center lobby parking lot and surrounding lawn area at 751 S. Bascom Ave. in San Jose (facing Bascom Ave.).  For any questions, please e-mail vmcpeersupport@scvmcrehab.org
