NorCal SCI launches major study of SCI population in Northern California
When Nick and myself (Franklin) founded NorCal SCI a few months ago, we pledged to share with you what types of initiatives we'll be undertaking as part of our goal to better serve the SCI communities throughout Northern California.
Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of a major study of individuals with spinal cord injury/disorder. We've been working on this for the past couple of months and have involved various SCI support groups throughout Northern California as our partners in developing the study.
What we hope to learn from this study is what the SCI population looks like, where and how they access information specific to their needs and what issues they struggle with and need assistance with.
Based on the information we hope to collect, it would allow us and our partners to better refine our missions and offerings so that we can better serve our respective communities. But the value of this study is as good as the number of its participants and so we ask that you take about 10 minutes to complete the online survey. We collect no personal information about you whatsoever unless you choose to provide it to us.
HERE'S THE LINK TO THE SURVEY and please share it with your friends who have a spinal cord injury or disorder. The survey can be completed on both your computer or mobile devices. We ask that you complete it by no later than Sunday, August 27, 2017.
Thank you,
Nick & Franklin
