AXIS launches home season performance with Onward & Upward Oct. 26-29

Join AXIS Dance Company for its 2017 Oakland Home Season 'Onward & Upward', running from October 26th-29th at the Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts. 

Marc Brew creates the highlight of their 30th Anniversary in his first work as AXIS Artistic Director. This new work for AXIS will be in collaboration with Oakland based JooWan Kim’s Hip Hop Orchestra Ensemble Mik Nawooj. Also on the program is a restaging of Amy Seiwert’s The Reflective Surface featuring original composition by Darren Johnston.

Friday, October 27th, 7:30pm (Includes ASL interpretation & Post-Show Q&A)
Saturday October 28th, 7:30pm (Oakland Proud Post-Show Reception *purchase VIP ticket option*)
Sunday, October 29th, 3:00pm
