The eight presenters at Ability Hacks

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Center held its first-ever Ability Hacks showcase last Thursday, during which eight individuals with a spinal cord injury demonstrated to an audience of 25 people a dizzying array of creative solutions to the many daily challenges faced by the SCI community.

The eight presenters — Krystina, Joe, Chris, Tom, Steve, Ran, Marv and Debbie — showed off their tricks encompassing solutions to cooking, use of technology, managing equipment and supplies, how a companion dog helps with day-to-day activities, and so much more.

We think you’ll enjoy video footage of the evening, courtesy of SCVMC.
