Let's talk about Sex ... the Accessible kind on May 6th in Berkeley

The founders of the Bay Area Sexuality and Disability Network (BASDN) are hosting a community discussion on what it means to make sex education, services, and information accessible on Sun., May 6th from 2-4 p.m. at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley.

The goal of the group is to set a standard of sexual health competency by educating and interconnecting people with disabilities and organizations that serve them.  This is not a presentation but a facilitated conversation. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community in a safe and supportive space, to share our experiences and questions, our struggles and our victories.

BASDN is a group of pan-disability sex educators who are all committed to accessible, inclusive, comprehensive sex education.  To register for the event, go HERE.  Though a contribution of $10-$30 would be appreciated, the organizers have made it clear that no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
