Sacramento area buzzing with many accessible recreational events

Our friend, Annie Desalernos, the program supervisor at the City of Sacramento's Access Leisure program, has been busy along with her colleagues pulling together an amazing outline of various accessible events happening in Northern California, particularly in the Sacramento Valley area.  

The Spring edition of the Northern California Paralympic Regional Sport newsletter is out with tons of events and activities across a huge number of interests, so chances are pretty good that you'd find something for everyone.  

Last time we checked, they had activities in golf, aquatics, wheelchair basketball, baseball, challenge sports, goalball, power soccer, wheelchair quad rugby, hand, tandem, foot pedal cycling and more.  If you have any questions, please contact Annie at adesaler@cityofsacramento.org.
