New look: NorCal SCI web site & newsletter undergo changes
Starting this week, you'll notice some changes to our look, mainly involving our web site and the weekly newsletter as a year after we launched our web site, we refreshed its navigation and tools and also will begin using Constant Contact to generate and send out the newsletter.
What's different? The web site's home page is redesigned by putting our search bar prominently at the top so you can easily search our entire content library. We're also highlighting three core areas: the various programs we've launched and are offering, the ever-so-important newsletter signup which is a key to staying on top of news & events affecting the SCI community in Northern California, and our section for the Newly Injured individuals. Finally, if someone wants to know in 60 seconds what we're all about, we have that covered in our video at the bottom of the home page.
We also organized the navigation bars a bit more by highlighting our core programs and also moving our calendar, support group listings and our Care Package information all under the Resources tab.
Our newsletter has a new look featuring larger pictures and graphic elements, having all the links to our web site available so you can go from the newsletter to any section of the web site with a click and also promote our social media channels.
Along the way this year, we met Karen Hebert, founder of The Oya Group, a strategic brand marketing agency who inspired and pushed us to make changes in how we're communicating our message. Thank you, Karen!
