First-of-its-kind "Day on the Lake" to be held on June 2 at Vasona Lake

We're excited to see this event finally happening on Sat., June 2nd which will be the first-ever of its kind to take place in Santa Clara County that brings adapted kayaking, canoeing and sailing to the beautiful Vasona Park and Lake in Los Gatos.  Additional openings have been created for all three events for the members of the spinal cord injury and brain injury communities to enjoy but to reserve your spot, you must act immediately before every slot is gone by email at info@norcalsci.org or calling (408) 885-2397.

Multiple organizations (including NorCal SCI), led by Santa Clara Valley Medical Center's Rehabilitation Center, have been working for over six months to make this a memorable day and help make water-based activities a reality for the disabled community.  All the equipment used is completely accessible and lots of assistance is also available to help with any unique needs.

The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will also feature activities for the whole family, including children.  The Los Gatos Fire Dept. will be on hand to grill hot dogs to go along with free refreshments for everyone to enjoy.  Parking is free to those with a disabled parking placard.
