Caregiver Troubleshooting Community Meeting in San Jose on June 22

The Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC)  is hosting a Caregiver Troubleshooting Community Meeting on Fri., June 22nd from 1:30-3 p.m. in order to hear from local care providing organizations, community members and consumers who are willing to share insights when it comes to finding, hiring and firing care providers.  SVILC is working on using the public insights to build a workshop to help all parties involved provide/receive services that the community is in need of.

Finding a reliable, knowledgeable and affordable caregiver has become one of the biggest challenges an individual with a disability has to deal with and this challenge has become far greater than ever due to a variety of reasons.  Individuals who utilize a caregiver, family members, caregivers, and agency providers are welcome to attend.  Light refreshments will be served but you must RSVP as soon as possible by calling (408) 894-9041.
