Disability Capitol Action Day rolls into Sacramento on June 7
The 14th annual Disability Capitol Action Day is rolling into Sacramento on Sat., June 7th from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. providing an opportunity for people of cross disabilities, their families and allies to come together in solidarity to learn about disability community resources, become educated on potential policies that could impact our daily lives and collaborate with our fellow disability community members to educate policy makers on the issues we care about most.
Disability Capitol Action Day is an annual event coordinated by The Disability Action Coalition and is one of the nation's largest cross disability days of unity. The day's offering includes:
- Disability Community Resource Fair
- Educational Rally – Cesar Chavez Plaza
- March from Cesar Chavez Plaza to south steps of State Capitol
- Legislative Visits
