Research study seeking persons with SCI, caregivers and RNs; offers $75

The Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC) is recruiting individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) as well as their caregivers and RNs to participate in a research study to better understand their health information needs and their participation in other research studies.

Participants in this research study with SCI must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have access to and the ability to communicate over a phone
  • Speak English
  • Individuals with a spinal cord injury must have been 16 years of age or older when the SCI first occurred
  • Caregivers must have at least 3 years of experience as a non-paid caregiver to a family member or close friend with a spinal cord injury
  • RNs must have provided services and care to patients with spinal cord injury in post-acute rehabilitation settings in the past 5 years and must have 5 or more years of experience treating these injuries

    Interviews will last approximately 60 minutes. Participants will receive $75 for their time. If you’re interested in participating, please contact Dr. Ali Weinstein at (703) 993-9632 or aweinst2@gmu.edu.
