CIRM responds to SF Chronicle article critical of stem cell agency

Not much time passed before the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine’s President & CEO, Maria Millan, responded with a published Q&A column to address the various issues raised in the San Francisco Chronicle article we reported on that was critical of the agency’s work and expenditure of the nearly $3 billion budget.

We felt it was important to provide equal space and opportunity for CIRM to address the areas in need of their perspective and be shared with the SCI community. Here’s CIRM’s Q&A.
