We were proud of our efforts and results during 2018 and so, it was wonderful to be contacted by Betsy Bailey, writer for Wheel:Life magazine and Jake Richardson, writer for the San Jose Mercury News who each wanted to feature NorCal SCI in their respective publications.

Wheel:Life did a full feature on our organization, detailing our beginnings and the slew of programs we’ve launched since our inception. You can read the article HERE.

The Mercury News featured us in an article about the upgrading of the boating facility at the Los Gatos Vasona Lake & Park, something that we initiated with the Santa Clara County Parks & Recreation Dept. and the County’s Board of Supervisors which gave its blessing and financial backing in way of a $560,000 investment to make the boating area fully accessible and ADA compliant. We were proud of that effort. You can read that article HERE.

While we are honored and appreciative of the recognition, we hope to inspire others with SCI to think big and determine ways to help their respective communities. If you want to be part of that movement, we’d love to hear from you and discuss ways you can help us expand our services and message to others in need. Please contact us at info@norcalsci.org or at (408) 458-9863.
