City of San Jose unveils multiple adapted recreational activities in January

Basketball, bowling, soccer, fitness … whatever you’re enthused about the most, chances are the City of San Jose Parks & Recreation Dept. has a program to meet your needs this winter.

Power Soccer starts Jan. 12th and runs through March 23 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Bascom Community Center in San Jose.

Wheelchair Basketball is offered for both Beginners and Advanced player now through March 26th at the Bascom Community Center.

Adapted Bowling is offered from Jan. 15th through March 19th from 4-5:30 p.m. at Bowlero in San Jose.

Adapted Fitness is offered to persons with physical disabilities at the Camden Community Center from now through March 22nd.

For wheelchair users ages 5-22, Wheels On Fire is a Junior Wheelchair Sports Program exposing you to a variety of sports and recreational activities from Jan. 20th through March 17th at the Camden Community Center.
