Elephant Seal Excursion at Año Nuevo State Park Feb. 3

Shared Adventures of Santa Cruz has organized an Elephant Seal Excursion at Año Nuevo State Park on Sun., Feb. 3rd from 12:30-3 p.m. The hike is through a fully accessible path led by informative park docents. Afterwards, you can check out the Visitor Center which features natural history exhibits.

Año Nuevo State Reserve is the site of the largest mainland breeding colony in the world for the northern elephant seal. This event is rain or shine - the seals love the rain and are more active, so bring a poncho and brave the weather for this amazing opportunity.
