Research study on impact of ending relationships following SCI seeks male volunteers

For those in a relationship prior to their spinal cord injury, among the many difficult challenges that present themselves is how such relationships withstand the impact of a spinal cord injury. So much is thrown at the person affected by the injury, much less their loved ones and the stress of handling all those challenges can, at times, be overwhelming beyond reason. And it is why researchers at the California State University Dominguez Hills in Southern California are conducting this research study, specifically seeking males 18 years or older with SCI.

The study specifically seeks individuals who were in a relationship prior to their injury but ended up divorced or separated. Interviews with candidates would take place virtually or face-to-face and will be conducted throughout November, so please respond today with your interest by phone at (559) 300-4032 or at csudhsciresearch@gmail.com. Each participant will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.
