We couldn’t help but be thrilled with this section of the California Coastal Commission’s web site that provides a healthy amount of information on California’s beaches and their accessibility, including which have beach wheelchairs available for use by persons with a disability.

In Northern California alone, there are some 50 beaches that rent such chairs for free. The site also has other details to make your beach visit more enjoyable. You can access the site HERE.
