GuideStar awards NorCal SCI its Gold Seal of Transparency

One of our guiding principles here at NorCal SCI has been full transparency with everything we do. We publish the results of everything we do and as a non-profit relying completely on financial contributions from our supporters, it’s important that we’re financially transparent as well. Last year, we elected to file our 2017 taxes with the IRS and we’re about to do it again for this past year. These documents are publicly available. It is based on these efforts that GuideStar, the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations, just awarded us with its second highest recognition, the Gold Seal of Transparency.

The last Seal that we’re now striving to earn is Platinum. By continuing our policy of transparency and your support, we’ll get there.
