INSPIRE 2019: NorCal SCI's Oct. 5 fundraising party receives major sponsorships

With just over a month to go before our biggest fundraising event of the year, we’re pleased and grateful to receive the support, recognition and financial sponsorship of INSPIRE 2019 by the California Pacific Regional Rehabilitation Center (CPMC), Permobil Foundation and Mobility Works. The party, which will be held on Sat,, Oct. 5th, was a smashing success last year which raised over $37,000 in net proceeds thanks to our generous guests and sponsors.

At CPMC, we’ve found a supportive group of staff members behind our mission of serving the needs of those with spinal cord injury that the facility treats every year and they immediately wanted to know how they can best support our cause. Byron Morgenroth, who is the Manager of Rehab Development for CPMC, told us CPMC “would be happy to support your worthwhile event”. The Permobil Foundation, which is the charitable arm of Permobil, increased their sponsorship support this year. The Foundation’s Executive Director, Ashley Davis, wrote us “Thank you for all that you do to make a difference in the lives of so many. We are proud to partner with you.” And finally, we met Steve Riffle and Molly Ellis of Mobility Works a couple of years ago when they wanted to learn how they can best support our work. They didn’t waste a minute in saying yes to our sponsorship request last year and we’re happy to see them also increase their sponsorship support this year.
