Uber & Lyft continue offering accessible ride sharing service in San Francisco

We haven’t heard much from the wheelchair using community in San Francisco about their experiences with Uber and Lyft now that both ride sharing companies are offering on-demand wheelchair accessible vans. Normally, we could usually count on social media to learn of experiences of wheelchair users given the severe backlash both companies have received not only in the press but also courtrooms, thanks to two major lawsuits filed against the two companies.

It’s important for our community to use these services and share their experiences, good or bad, so that the companies can adjust their expansion strategies. Therefore, here are the two articles we had recently published about the availability of their services in case you weren’t aware:
