CIL Berkeley seeks applicants for job opening

Berkeley-based Center for Independent Living (CIL) is currently advertising for a full-time position providing overall coordination for CIL’s college-to-career program, Accelerate, a program that helps college students with disabilities with the transition into their chosen career. The position is full-time with great benefits and an annual salary of $45,000.

The Accelerate Coordinator will: (1) lead the coordination of Disability Employment Panels at local universities and community colleges, (2) serve as instructor for the Disability EmploymentStrategies Course that is taught as a collaboration with local universities and community colleges, (3) serve as a career counselor for college students with disabilities, and (4) build and maintain relationships with DSPs and employment programs at local universities and community colleges, as well as recruiters and university departments at Bay Area companies who provide competitive employment opportunities in varied industries.
