QuickMatch Caregiver Matching Service expands to Santa Clara County

If you are in need of a private, professional caregiver or personal care assistant and reside in Santa Clara County, there is good news as the Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) has joined a new caregiver matching service called QuickMatch which specializes in matching up an individual with a personal assistant. A personal assistant (PA) is a caregiver who assists an individual with activities of daily living in their home, their community, their school and in their work place. Activities of daily living include bathing, transferring, dressing, driving, toileting, eating, shopping, reading, assistance to support employment, sports, recreation, entertainment and many other activities of daily life.

The QuickMatch Registry Network is an online tool that helps low-income older adults with chronic conditions and persons of all ages with disabilities find potential caregivers that match their needs, schedule, pay range and service location. At present time, five other Independent Living Centers in Northern California are participants in this service. It is free to everyone who qualifies for SVILC services. For more information, contact Gianna at quickmatch@svilc.org or call (408) 894-9041.
