"Public transit safety and accessibility during COVID-19" topic of Oct. 28 virtual panel presentation
Berkeley’s Center for Independent Living (CIL) is hosting a panel on Wed., Oct. 28th from 11 a.m. to Noon on “Shifting Gears: How Bay Area Public Transit is Adapting to COVID-19 with Accessibility in Mind”. Public transit is an essential mode of transportation for many, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, riders are wary of boarding these public vehicles. The panel seeks to address the current steps that transit agencies are taking to keep our essential modes of transportation operating whilst having accessibility in mind.
