BORP's Adapted Bike Share Program expands to the Embarcadero in SF starting March 7

Starting Sat., March 7th, Berkeley-based Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program (BORP) will expand its collaboration with Bay Wheels (operated by Lyft) and operate an adaptive bike share program at Pier 40, on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. The program will run every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through August.

The same bike share program at the Golden Gate Park will run for three more Sundays in March (March 1st, 8th, 15th) before discontinuing. It is held at the McLaren Lodge, Golden Gate Park, 501 Stanyon Street. There are a number of wheelchair accessible parking spaces available as well.

Use of the adapted bikes is free and no sign-up is needed. First come, first served. For more information, email cycling@borp.org
