CA Stem Cell research supporters' ballot initiative seeks voter signatures from SCI community by April 16

In an effort to place a $5.5 billion ballot initiative in this November’s election, the supporters of the California Stem Cell agency, CIRM, are in need of California legal residents to sign the voter signature form by Thurs., April 16 in order to help deliver the needed minimum number of signatures necessary to qualify the initiative. Due to the effects of COVID-19 on all public signature-gathering efforts, they are, at present time, some 35,000 signatures short of what is needed and though the initial deadline was last week, it was subsequently extended by the State to April 16th.

Now, to be transparent, this would take a bit of effort on your end. First, go to this web site and download/print ALL 16 pages of the signature petition form:  https://caforcures.com/help-us-qualify/ You only have to fill out the information on the very last page though others also registered to vote in the same county as yours can also sign up. Once completed, you must send all 16 pages in a 9” × 12” envelope and 2 “forever” stamps.  It must be postmarked by Thurs., April 16th. You can view the complete instructions HERE.
