University of Washington researchers seeking volunteers with SCI for self-management study

University of Washington researchers are in need of volunteers with spinal cord injury to take part in a study using a six-week online self-management program with the goal of helping improve your quality of life. Each week, the study will introduce new skills to help you work toward wellness goals that you set. Sessions are led by people with SCI and clinicians and you may receive up to $80 for completing three to four assessments.

The six-week online program includes:

  • Goal setting

  • Relaxation

  • Taking charge of your thoughts

  • Mindfulness

  • Tackling problems & making decisions

You might be able to participate if you:

  • Have an SCI

  • Are 18 years of age or older

  • Speak English

  • Have a computer/smartphone/tablet with internet access
