With all that is going on in the world, we’re all in a heightened frazzled state and, for some, a routine state of mind. And so, at a recent Sacramento SCI support group virtual meeting, the attendees were treated to a great session on “breathing techniques to help calm the nervous system” led by James Crader, the owner of Evolved Body in Sacramento and a mindset, movement and neurokinetic expert who has worked with many recovering SCI clients. James guided the participants through three different breathing techniques to help calm the nervous system and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

The techniques apply to quadriplegics or paraplegics and can be done in a wheelchair or out of. To see how James can help you improve your breathing techniques, watch the 17-minute video on this FACEBOOK PAGE.
