Peer-led online self-management study seeks participants with SCI

University of Washington researchers are conducting a study using a six-week online self-management program for individuals with spinal cord injuries with the purpose of helping improve your quality of life. Each week, new skills will be introduced to help you work toward wellness goals that you set. Sessions are led by people with SCI and clinicians. You may receive up to $80 for completing three to four assessments.

The six-week online program includes: Goal setting, Relaxation, Taking charge of your thoughts, Mindfulness, Tackling problems & making decisions among other skills.

You might be able to participate if you: have an SCI, are 18 years of age or older, speak English and have a computer/smartphone/tablet with internet access. Please contact researchers to learn more about the program: (206) 685-3999 or thrive@uw.edu
