Survey seeks wheelchair users to report breakdowns and repairs using mobile app
The folks at the University of Pittsburgh Model Center on Spinal Cord Injury are recruiting wheelchair users to collect information about types and frequency of wheelchair breakdowns and repairs using a smartphone app. Their goal through this study is to track the rate of wheelchair breakdowns as well as adverse consequences as they attempt to enroll up to 1,350 wheelchair users in this study.
If you choose to participate, you will be asked questions about yourself and your wheelchair and will be asked to log any breakdowns or failures of wheelchair parts in the app. You will be compensated for your participation in this study.
You may qualify for this study if:
You use a wheelchair as a primary means of mobility (greater than 40 hours a week)
