Kelly Brush Foundation Active Fund grants near Sept. 23 deadline
The Kelly Brush Foundation, dedicated to making active lifestyles a reality for anyone with a spinal cord injury, provide grants through their Active Fund for individuals with paralysis caused by SCI to purchase adaptive sports equipment. This could include sport and recreation equipment such as handcycles, monoskis, sport chairs, racing chairs, hockey sleds, and much more. And their application deadline of Sept. 23rd is fast approaching.
Their grants rarely exceed $5,000, with the average grant generally around $3,500. The KBF was founded by Kelly and her family after Kelly was injured in 2006 at an NCAA alpine ski race. You can access their grant application HERE.
