Inventory of NorCal SCI's donated durable medical equipment program continues to expand

Once again, we have found our donated medical equipment storage unit reach full capacity. It’s a good news/bad news scenario for us. The good news is that the SCI community will have access to more equipment than at any time since we started this free program. The bad news is that the full capacity prevents us from being able to take in more equipment to be kept at the storage and instead, we may need to tell those donating equipment to hold on to them until a request for that particular piece comes to us. That, at times, becomes problematic as some individuals may need to urgently move such equipment out of their residences for a variety of reasons.

Among some of the incredible items currently available is a two-year-old Acorn Stair Lift system valued at $13,000, two late model power wheelchairs in excellent condition, a power scooter, a manual Hoyer lift, many shower benches and commode chairs and walkers in new condition just to name a few. You can view our current inventory as well as instructions on how to request or donate equipment HERE.
