The Kelly Brush Foundation, dedicated to making active lifestyles a reality for anyone with a spinal cord injury, provides grants through their Active Fund in order to purchase adaptive sports equipment. This could include sport and recreation equipment such as handcycles, monoskis, sport chairs, racing chairs, hockey sleds, and much more. And the application deadline for their Spring Active Fund is coming up on March 31st.

Their grants rarely exceed $5,000, with the average grant generally around $3,500. The KBF was founded by Kelly and her family after she was injured in 2006 at an NCAA alpine ski race.  You can access their grant application HERE.
