Last day of BORP-NorCal SCI Adaptive Cycling coming on May 30

13-year-old Devan Watkins and his dad, Brian

This past Sunday marked another memorable day at the Vasona Park & Lake as the BORP-NorCal SCI Adaptive Cycling Sundays continued on yet another beautiful day with 10 participants coming from as far south as Arroyo Grande to as far north as Sacramento, including 13-year-old Devan Watkins who joined his dad, Brian, for a 45-minute ride around the park which judging by the big grin on Devan’s face upon his return, it meant that he had a great time and said he wanted to come back this weekend. There are only a few slots open to join us this Sunday from Noon-3 p.m. which you can register for HERE.

Once again, the 10 participants kept the BORP staff of Leo and Justin, along with our volunteers Chris and Dana, plenty busy. Spending adequate time with every rider to ensure proper fitting is one of Leo and Justin’s biggest priorities. They bring enough variety of bikes to fit each person’s unique size and abilities.

Vasona Park offers a great selection of trails for every skill and experience level. We have located our launch center right behind the Boating Center, have even blocked off several accessible parking spaces for our participants and there are accessible restrooms right next door. So, go to our registration page and sign up for the few remaining slots and experience the joys of riding a cycle on what promises to be another beautiful Sunday at Vasona Park in Los Gatos.
