Stanford research study seeks SCI community's participation to understand their experience during COVID-19 pandemic

A Stanford research study, The COVID Journey - Persons with Disabilities during the Pandemic: Understanding and Improving Equity in Healthcare through Virtual Health., aims to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and transition to telehealth on persons with disabilities (PWD) to improve their care. To participate in this study, you do not need to have been infected with COVID-19 but you must be a person with a spinal cord injury, be 18 years or older, had video medical appointments in 2020 or 2021 and can use a smart phone or computer. Participants selected for the study will receive a $75 honorarium.

The study involves a recorded interview of participants who are willing to share their stories, which would be shared respectfully with as much anonymity as desired. If you’d like to participate in this study, send e-mail to covidjourney@stanford.edu or call (650) 497-9567.
