Clemson’s Tutor, Talk and Train program offering free adaptive fitness & yoga programs

Clemson University’s Tutor, Talk, and Train program is offering a free opportunity for individuals with paralysis to be involved in a 6-week engaging virtual program intended to decrease the effects of social isolation and promote mental and physical health. This program includes sessions of adaptive fitness and adaptive yoga as well as a paid virtual dinner when the participant attends at least 6 of 12 sessions. Caregivers and family members are always welcome to join the sessions. All sessions will include a wide range of modifications in order to best serve your needs. The program will offer Adaptive Fitness classes, focusing on a combination of strength and cardio exercises, on Mondays followed by Adaptive Yoga classes, which are intended to help foster harmony between your mind and body helping you increase flexibility and strength while reducing stress, illness and injury, on Wednesdays.
