Sex & Relationships series video addresses "bringing it up"

You’re out on your first in-person date and a thousand questions are racing through your head (how much and what do I divulge about my disability and how it affects me) and your date’s head (what would/could/should I ask without offending my date). Do you talk about bowel, bladder and sexual functions before or after you get in bed with your partner whenever that takes place? They are among several topics addressed in the latest short video produced by Sustain Our Abilities, an online resource for people living with disabilities to receive & share information about successful living. You can watch this 28-minute video HERE.

There are plans for 40 videos addressing sex and relationships within the disability community and you can subscribe to their YouTube channel HERE to have access to their future episodes as well as watch their first two episodes. The information presented in these videos is useful to persons with disability, their partners, health care professionals and the general public.
