It’s the peak of summer, which means it’s time to make the most of the season’s bounty (did someone say tomatoes??!) and make some tasty hot weather dishes. Having a BBQ and need some ideas for what to eat? On Thurs., July 29th at 5 p.m. PST, join passionate about healthy and tasty cooking wheelchair user, Arash Bayatmakou, and learn how to beat the heat and make some quick and easy meals you can throw together in just a few minutes. You can register to watch Arash live HERE.

This presentation is part of our continuing “NorCal SCI Presents: Virtual is the New Reality Series” funded thanks to the generosity of our donors and you must register in advance to attend. Once you register, you will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail from us which you should keep for access information to the virtual event.

Arash experienced his SCI in 2012 as a result of a fall. He has given numerous talks and shared his story of perseverance, recovery, and challenging limits to audiences large and small, including his TEDx talk. A Bay Area native, Arash credits his California upbringing for his love of the outdoors, nature, and cooking, activities he still cherishes as he continues to travel, explore and enjoy new experiences. He also serves on NorCal SCI’s Board of Directors.
