When we spoke last week with Maggie Palchak, program director at the Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra in Mammoth Lakes, she was all excited to share their summer programs for those with physical disabilities which included their two-day Pedal-Paddle program as well as lessons in flat water kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing, hiking, road cycling, and mountain biking taking place in Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra. Though most of their programs are fee-based, they also offer scholarships for those who qualify so don’t think that their programs are out of your financial reach.

Their Pedal-Paddle program runs Aug. 13-15 and offers cycling, paddling, camping, fishing and group activities in Eastern Sierra that you’re sure to enjoy. The per person cost is $325.

They are also accepting reservations now for their lessons which run between $75-$175 (based on length of class) and all lessons include a lift ticket, equipment and instruction.
