Livestreaming digital accessible fitness to a device near you

One good thing to come out of the pandemic is the proliferation of online fitness offerings. An increasing number of options can get you moving for a lot less money and a lot less hassle than going to a traditional gym while tailoring workouts specifically for wheelchair users. At NorCal SCI, we know a thing or two about that since we began offering twice-weekly virtual fitness and strength training classes for wheelchair users free since this past November (check out our CALENDAR for our schedule). Read John Loeppky’s REPORT in New Mobility magazine on this accessible fitness trend, and then keep reading to see how it goes when one of their editors tries a couple of classes.
