We’re happy to announce that a Spanish-speaking support group for those with SCI or MS is now hosting monthly virtual meetings on the last Thursday of each month with the next one taking place on Thurs., Sept 30th at 6 p.m. PST. which you can join on THIS ZOOM LINK. The meeting is led by SCI survivor, Javier Pulido who will facilitate the group and provide much-needed education and information about spinal cord injury not only to the person with SCI but also their family and care providers. Javier has also completed peer mentoring training by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

The Spanish-speaking Javier is also a Dept. of Rehabilitation counselor and a proud dad, giving him an opportunity to share his experiences of parenthood. If you would like to participate in these meetings, please send Javier an e-mail at pumashugol@hotmail.com. If you know of anyone who might benefit from receiving this information, especially anyone who prefers their information be provided in Spanish, this is the group to get connected with.
