Understanding and management of bowel function after a Spinal Cord Injury

Among the various secondary conditions caused by a spinal cord injury, the often unstable management of one’s bowel functions is arguably among the top issues that creates a lot of angst for those who have experienced an SCI. Unpredictable and irregular bowel problems can contribute to depression or anxiety.
